I work using egg tempera, or natural pigments mixed with acrylic binder, depending on the needs of each commission. I use 22k or 23.75k gold leaf to gild halos and backgrounds, honoring the spiritual light that icons are meant to radiate.

Each icon is more than an image, it is a quiet prayer in color and gold, crafted with care, silence, and reverence. Through this process, I aim to preserve not only technique, but the timeless presence that sacred images carry into the world.
